Lead By Legacy

Lead by Legacy is the union of members from three different bands. First, we have Johnny Gionette who is the Vocalist for LBL and was previously the bassist for a band called Crowded Sky. Second, we have drummer and guitarists Jonny Andreadis, Frank Potipco and Dan Stewart who all came from a band called In Your Dishonour. Although, these bands were good, it just wasn’t enough to keep going and times were tough. So, tough decisions had to be made, and both bands found themselves in a sort of hiatus. That wasn’t where it was going end though. At the same time that this was happening in both bands, Frankie P. and Johnny G. just so happened to work together at a local restaurant. It wasn’t long before they had realized that a new band needed to be formed. So it was, and Lead by Legacy was born with Johnny G. joining the trio as the bassist. It wasn’t complete though. Lead by Legacy still needed a vocalist! The now quartet looked long and hard, sending demos out all over, hoping we could find someone to fit the bill and be the fifth member. There were good auditions and bad auditions but still we couldn’t quite seem to find THAT person. It seemed we were at a standstill, until Johnny G. out of no where stepped up to the Mic. Our heads EXPLODED. The search for a vocalist was over, but now we needed a bassist! That’s where Dan Swan came into play. Swan is a long time friend of Dan Stewart and Frankie P and at the time was in a band called Power City Breakdown. It wasn’t long before Frankie P., Dan Stewart and Swan started talking and we had the final piece. Lead by Legacy was now complete.
