Late Landing are an alt/rock band from Montrose on the North Sea in Scotland where a mighty and harsh landscape meets a generous spirit. Their aesthetic is unforgiving and uncompromising, but once you sit down for the first wee dram... Alongside litres of Irn Bru and a full fried breakfast Late Landing are a quality hangover cure. - New Hellfire Club Brothers Ben and Joe and their best mates Nicky and Paul, who are cousins, started out playing music to raise funds for a skate park. Their Skate Jams united the local scene, got the ramps built and ensured that music took over the guys' lives. While the latter are famous for playing behind chicken wire, Late Landing got booked to play in an actual chicken shed. On one such early tour 'Fightstar' frontman Charlie Simpson heard their music and surprised the guys by singing one of their songs. Late Landing's self released debut EP A View From The Inside got the bands' tracks on the American compilation album series 'Kill City'. Their debut album 'Caught In The Middle' reached #30 in the iTunes Rock Chart and the band toured with Max Raptor and opened MoFest, the largest free festival in the UK.
