LA Mitchell

With a reputation for her polished live act and spectacular voice, pop/soul songstress L.A. Mitchell has become one of the most in-demand musicians in the country. Alongside her own songwriting and releases (in 2009 she was named first songwriter in residence for Auckland University) L.A. is touring with A Hori Buzz and Sola Rosa and is a member of Dukes, Fly My Pretties and Dave Dobbyn’s band. She opened for Stevie Wonder and Lionel Richie at their New Zealand shows and Dukes supported Blondie and Pretenders. L.A. has performed with Bic Runga, Tim Finn, Guy Sebastian, Dane Rumble, Stan Walker and the Urban Soul Orchestra (U.K). L.A. Mitchell has released two self-produced albums and has collaborated on two EPs with electronic producers Isaac Aesili and D:UNK. I've had a break from musical life to raise my daughter. A Beautiful time it has been too. But there is momentum in my creative heart.....fuel to burn!
