LIZHARD

Lizhard is an Hard Rock band from Italy formed in 1995, started as a cover band they played all over Italy and Switzerland for years. Thanks to their born-out friendship transmitted during their power shows and the captivating voice of their singer, they ware soon appreciated by the audience. The band decided to start writing their own music and in 2005 they recorded a 5 track Ep called “Sexy Lolita”, entirely sung in Italian, but it wasn’t their way. They soon decided to go back to their pure hard ‘n’ roll sound working on some new material. The band arranged their songs trying to preserve the sounds and the warmth of 80’s and 90’s classic hard rock. During the first months of 2008 they opened for former Mr.Big singer Eric Martin, getting great feedback from audience and critics. In June 2008 the band finished the recordings of their first self titled full lenght album and after few months they inked a deal with the well-known Label Perris Records for a worldwide release of their debut album on October 7th 2008. After the released of the album, the band started promoting it playing in Europe opening for bands like White Lion, Bonfire, Glenn Hughes and more. In 2014 the band and singer Luke Marsilio decided by mutual agreement to separate their ways and after an extensive search they introduce Mario Mosca as new official singer. The long awaited second album has been released in May 2016 and it features some special guests like Marco Mendoza (Whitesnake,Thin Lizzy), Paul Shortino (Rough cutt, Quiet riot) and Alessandro del Vecchio (Hardline, Edge Of Forever).
