About Kingdom Scorned
**ON HIATUS AS OF SEPTEMBER 2013** Kingdom Scorned is a recently formed five-piece Melo-death act out of The San Francisco Bay Area in California. With many influences from the European Melo-death scene, including, In Flames, Dark Tranquility, Insomnium and Mercenary, Kingdom Scorned puts their own American flare on the classic Gothenburg sound. With Powerful crunching riffs and brutal vocals, Kingdom Scorned maintains a particular heaviness but is able to captivate their listeners with a melodic sound, soaring clean vocals, and a certain technicality not found any where else.
