Kim Dunn

We are very excited to announce that ECMA & Nova Scotia Music award winner, Kim Dunn will be performing at the Lunenburg Opera House on November 6, 2021 at 7:00 pm.

“An Intimate Evening with Kim & Friends” will be performed at the Lunenburg Opera House, a world-class venue rich in heritage and culture. As a recipient of the first Musician Special Achievement ECMA award, Kim is a dynamic, experienced, engaging, performer who offers a versatile blend of heartfelt well-crafted tunes, with elements of blues, folk, pop, country and gospel.

Kim has performed his music with Symphony Nova Scotia, has received national exposure on CBC’s Canada Live, and featured regionally on Atlantic Airwaves & All The Best. He has successfully showcased at the East Coast Music Awards, Nova Scotia Music Week, and notably, the premium artist/buyers conference Contact East. Kim has also performed his music at various music festivals and other events throughout the country and abroad. Personal highlights include having had the chance to meet and work with Alison Krauss, Peter Gzowski, Philip Glass, and performing at the Montreal Jazz Festival.

Kim is excited to be returning to Lunenburg, Nova Scotia to perform with so many memorable experiences over the years performing alongside amazing and talented artists, including his most recent Lunenburg Folk Festival performance which was truly, “one of my most enjoyable experiences as a musician” says Kim (he/him). “Our performance on November 6 at the Lunenburg Opera House will include our versatile blend of heartfelt well-crafted tunes, with elements of blues, folk, pop, country and gospel. We promise an engaging and a truly enjoyable evening as we can’t wait to perform for the knowledgeable music fans of the south shore.”
