Kat Somers

My name is Kat Somers and I am proudly from Nelson County, Virginia where almost every road is a back road and you always wave to the person you pass. I am a singer/songwriter with compositions from acoustic alternative folk to indie to acoustic alternative pop and a pop-acoustifier and unexpected song mash-up maker. In 2015 I released my first studio recorded EP, Blue ridge EP, which I am hoping to use to complete my first full album in winter of 2017. Before then, in 2010, I self recorded and released my first album that can still be found on the shelves of some relatives. My musical journey began in 2009 when I first learned to play guitar and wrote my first song and I have miles to go before I reach its end! I am excited for the creative minds and beautiful souls I will meet along the way.
