Kaos

Kaos 2009 yılının Ocak ayında kurulan bir Post Hardcore gurubudur. Grup konserlerini kendi hazırladıkları Türkçe repertuvarları ile vererek Türkçe hardcore adına büyük bir başarı kazanmış ve hemen ardından ilk single ı olan Kin’i yayınlamıştır. Bu süreç içerisinde birçok üniversite festivalinde yer alan grup siyasi içerikli bazı şarkılarından dolayı bazı üniversiteler ve kitleler tarafından tepki görmüş ve grubun internet sayfaları sanal saldırılara uğramıştır. Profesyonel anlamda çalışmalarına hız veren Kaos, 2012 yılının Şubat ayında kayıtlarının Türkiye’nin önemli prodüktörlerinden Alen KONAKOĞLU’nun stüdyosu The Klube’de alındığı EP’i “Kaç”ı yayınlamış ve Nisan ayında da EP’de yer alan parçası “Kaç”a ilk kliplerini çekmiştir. Ayrıca Kaos 2013 yılında katılmış olduğu Power Garage’ın düzenlediği Emergenza Türkiye 1.si olup, 9-11 Ağustos tarihleri arasında Almanya’da düzenlenen Taubertal Festival’inde sahne alma hakkı kazanmıştır. yarışmaya katılan gruplar arasında gitaristimiz “Enstrümantal Hakimiyet” dalında 4., bateristimiz de 7. olmuştur. Kaos şu anda yeni albümleri için çalışmalarını tam gaz sürdürmektedir. Kaos yurt içi ve yurt dışında birçok etkinlikte sahne almıştır. Kaos has strengthened its place among Turkish Post Hardcore bands with the projects it performed, with the festivals it participated in and the awards it won; and has shown its difference with the degree it earned in various contests. The band played their first big gig in KEMANCI and other rooted metal/rock bars in Istanbul such as Dorock and Rock N Rolla with their own repertoire of songs in Turkish, and has achieved a great success in Turkish hardcore, immediately releasing their first single ‘Kin’.. During this period, the band has played in many college festivals; however the band has drawn reaction in some universities due to political content of the lyrics and the social media pages of the band have experienced cyber attacks. In February of 2012, Kaos went into Turkey’s most important producers Alen Konakoglu’s studio “The Kulube” to record their first EP titled “KAÇ”. In April, the music video for Kaos's song "Kaç" was released. In 2013, Kaos have won the Turkey Final of global band competition Emergenza and vie for the World Title at the Taubertal Festival in Germany, taking place in August 2013. The festival, which features a bevy of headline acts such as Biffy Clyro, Skunk Anansie and The Prodigy, will serve as a showcase for some of the most exciting new rock bands in the world and Kaos look set to make the most of this huge opportunity and take their place amongst the best. Unfortunately we didn't win the world final but our guitarist, Kurtulus Olcay was 4th, and our drummer Ridvan Akparlak was 7th in the world rankings "Dominance Instrument"!
