Presenting DJ, producer and leading light of the progressive scene: Hayward. Formerly known as Justin Hayward, he built his name on the underground scene through various appearances clubs and on web & pirate radio as he steamrolled through a fledgling career at the forefront of London’s burgeoning scene. In 2014, he’s still continuing to grow - and with a string of high-profile DJ gigs, productions and a company under his belt, the time seems right for this down to earth, hardworking music fanatic to concentrate on bringing a diverse range of sounds to the international progressive circuit. As the world (particularly the mainstream) keys into the sounds of EDM culture– it’s high time that Justin was noted for his passion and dedication to the scene and to his already eclectic, diverse and broad range of sound. Tracks such as Air Raider, Social User and Foreign Affair - released on labels such as SQ Music and LDV Records- have kept Justin high on the priorities of some of the world’s progressive loving music fans, charting on Beatport and Trackitdown with productions that tickle every spot, from the hard-wearing dark dance-floor excursions to the uplifting and melodic workouts. Justin's got it covered. Support slots for the likes of Paul van Dyk, Laidback Luke, Chuckie, Sander Van Doorn, Faithless and many more have helped Justin remain a constant figure on the London scene, playing haunts such as Arcadia, The Brixton academy, The Electric Brixton, Lightbox, Ministry of Sound and more, whilst regularly sharing decks with the likes of local boys Garth Hill, So Called Scumbags, Marc Vedo and more, creating a storm on the dance-floor - a frenzy that he causes with each high-octane set he plays. Justin also kick-started Pinpoint Music Group, a 360 project with a family ethic, focusing on artists, music and events, as well as representing a base for recognized and new talent. 2014 shall see Hayward tackling the pinnacle of any modern artist’s repertoire – his debut artist album. A year in the making, Hayward is a route through Justin’s broad musical palette, taking in big room sensibilities, cascading melodies and progressive drum timbres to keep his fans’ insatiable appetite for electronic music whetted across ten tracks of high quality, deeply rooted progressive electronic music.
