Two times gold certified dj and producer from Berlin, JUMPA can be best described as a musical obsessive influenced by hip hop. With just 14 years of age, JUMPA started music production completely from scratch with no musical education at all. Countless hours of studying the art of music later, he started to carve a path for himself into the ever so challenging business. His first breakthrough came with a collaboration on the track „Yallah“ with Reddy Roc., which got Trap Nation’s attention and more 6 million plays to this day. A deal with SONY/ATV followed soon, so did hundreds of requests within the hip hop scene, all wanting him to produce. On a national level, the talented JUMPA earned his first chart hit when he was just 16 years of age. Every dime coming from that success was reinvested into his career, foremost his own studio. More chart placements followed soon, hitting the #1 in Germany’s album chart multiple times and reaching gold status twice for albums he had worked on. He has worked with people such as Farid Bang (two times gold certified), Azad (multiple national awards and #1 chart positions) and 187 Straßenbande (gold certified). Internationally, he has co-written music with acts such as Kelvyn Colt, Reece, Noëp, Muntu, Danyiom, Dillistone, ILIRA, Moli and Kinetics, the latter being best known for his multi gold and platinum hit ‚Airplane‘ by the rapper B.O.B. JUMPA is a constant in songwriting camps all over the world. He participated in Hip Hop Camp and Song Hotel Helsinki, Ultra Music Camp Berlin and in writing camps in Tokyo and Los Angeles. His recent approach to a solo career has earned him millions of plays on Spotify already where his newly found label Peak Nice has become the new home for all his productions. His latest style depicts his growing interest for more electronic music and fuses with his knowledge of the urban and hip hop genres. Above all, the new mixture creates a marvelous symbiosis and establishes his unique new vibe. In 2018 he managed to produce the official anthem for the world’s biggest gaming consumer fair gamescom together with german dj/producer and YouTube/gaming star Sarazar followed by festival & club performances at Sputnik Spring Break, Airbeat One Festival and Bootshaus.
