New, Unique, explosive, genuine are just a few words to describe this confident 22 year old who is bound and determined to take the country music scene by surprise. Already having a huge local fan base and large American following its not a matter of ‘if’ but is a matter of ‘when’ he breaks out. Jordan’s hard work ethic, amazing vocal tone and exciting stage presence are just a few of the cards he holds in his hand. Growing up in rural Manitoba Canada, his music reflects growing up in small towns, life on the farm and how country folk like to have a good time. “Here’s to big trucks in small towns, raising our beers up and putting our tailgates down” is one quote Jordan uses to sum up his writing influences. Sonically jordan’s style mesh’s an interesting sound of new and old country and vocally has a deep bass voice as well as a great mid and high range vocal tone. Jordan’s debut album ‘Born in the Country’ will be releasing in mid January 2014 and is highly anticipated after his radio single ‘Country Caboose’ hit local airwaves and iTunes and was widely accepted by country music fans worldwide. Jordan takes his music and songwriting very seriously and is always pushing himself to the limit to bring to his fan’s what he can call; “his best work yet, every time.” Not only did Jordan sing on the album he did most of the drumming, all of the bass guitars and most of the acoustic and electric rhythm guitars. Having amazing local artists perform on the album was key to the great sounds produced on the album having lucked out in acquiring Grant Siemens from The Corb Lund band to help out with guitars and Banjos and working with The Swifty’s front man Shawn Jonasson to do the sound engineering and co-producing. Having played in bands for the passed 8 years, Jordan’s boots are well acquainted with local Manitoba stages Having played three times At Dauphin’s Countryfest (where artists like Luke Bryan, Florida Georgia Line and Dierks Bentley have performed), once at Minnedosa Rockfest, has opened for Julian Austin, Prism, Nazareth and played many social events and parties over the years, always leaving crowds satisfied and wanting more. Jordan eventually plans on touring Canada along with the US and eventually plans to make the big move to Nashville next year. Jordan’s love and passion for music is very evident in his hunger and determination to succeed in the music business saying; “following my heart, showing my fans unconditional love and respect and never giving up” are his words he is living by to one day drive him to the top.
