Joint Forces

Joint Forces is a DJ and producer team from Germany. David Kox and Tobias Frimelt. Born in Cologne and raised bilingual (German father / English mother) the musical career of David began at the young age of 7 with playing the piano. He stopped getting private tuition after 7 years only because he wasn’t able to read the sheet-music. He only plays by ear. At the age of 11 he started playing the drums. With these two fundamental abilities he has the perfect basement for electronic dance music and has shown his talents at several shows already. Tobias also began to play the piano at the age of 9 but stopped after a short time due to the loss of interest. This followed a short time as a drummer in pop-group. In his teenage he and a friend were interested in DJing and so they bought themselves a DJ-set. Within days after the purchase it was clear to him that he wanted to produce own songs and improve his DJ skills. With the start of studying in Magdeburg the two young talents met and soon later they started spinning the decks together. Creating their own bootlegs, remixes and songs they are getting more and more popular.
