About Jimmy Nash
Native Nashvillian, Jimmy Nash, the son of 2 established songwriters, was immersed in songwriting from an early age. After being signed to a management deal by Andra Dalto (Hank III), Nash relocated to L.A.
Nash’s debut album, “The Road to 33,” blended Country, Rock, & Pop. It was produced by Todd Hannigan (Jack Johnson), & picked as “New & Noteworthy” by iTunes.
Working in multiple genres, Nash has received TV placements, most recently on MTV’s “Teen Mom 2” with the song, “We Are Made Of Stars.”
Throughout 2020 & 2021, Jimmy focused on writing with other rising artists. His latest work with sister duo, American Blonde, has received multiple features on Spotify’s “Fresh Finds Country” & “New Music Nashville,” with the song, “Quicksand,” breaking into the top 40 on the Billboard Indicator Charts.
Nash’s latest release (out Feb 9th), “You Got Me,” leans into a more Americana direction, keying on his lyrics, framed against rolling acoustics. He once again teamed up with his first producer, Todd Hannigan, who had since won a Grammy, and brought in Jesse Siebenberg (Lukas Nelson, Supertramp, A Star Is Born), to play just a touch of steel & organ.
An official performer at the Key West Songwriter Festival for the past 3 years, Nash plans to add more songwriter festivals to his 2024 calendar. He says, “There’s no place better to play your original music than at songwriter festivals, because the people who attend really care about your words, and if you can reach them with just you and a guitar, then you know you’ve really got something!”
When not busy writing or singing, Nash loves to surf, golf, learn new languages, and help his family’s charity, Champions Kids Camp.
