Jess Smith Music

Jess Smith may only be in her 20s, but her music is filled with the spirit and wisdom of an old soul. Growing up in a small Alberta farm town, she was mentored by local older musicians until eventually going on to complete a music degree at Grant MacEwan University. Since then, Jess has performed across Western Canada and released her first solo EP ‘Revealed’ this year. For summer 2018 she will be touring from Vancouver to Montreal, with a brief stop in New York City. Between gigs, Jess brings together her passion for music and helping people by taking part in music education and mental health programming in Calgary. You hear the mind + body + soul connection in Jess’s music and you feel this connection in her teaching. This self-proclaimed “Urban Flower Child” is known for indie-soul music that is open, ethereal and grounding.
