JEF JON SIN

Jef Jon Sin was born in St. Croix US Virgin Islands. His family moved to Kentucky when he was young and he spent most of his youth there. His career began on his personal computer at the age of 14. Heavily influenced musically from Chicago's Do Or Die, it was Nappy Roots from Kentucky that persuaded his vision of performing on an international platform. With nothing but hustle in his veins, he began selling CD’s and making music to develop an income. The rapper bought a Mercedes Sprinter van in mid-2012, named it "The Ratoadskidmuffin" after a mixtape, installed a recording studio, video editing bay, flat screen TV, video games and bunks to sleep on inside the van. He then built a stage across the top and decided that he was going to hit the road, indefinitely. In 2014 amongst the never ending tour, his van was totaled in a hit and run accident. Left with no options, Jef ran a fundraiser online and with the help of his fans was able to raise 15k to travel and tour Europe. Finding his way to Paris France, he performed on top of his van in front of Kanye West. Paparazzi footage of this event went viral and gained news and radio coverage nationally and internationally. Jef Jon Sin has been on over 200 stages and rocked 400 guerrilla performances across the entire western world. This includes over 30 states, 10 countries, 300 cities, and over 50,000 people. Some of the notable events and spaces include The Jay Z Tour, Kanye West Tour, Beyonce Tour, Eiffel Tower, Times Square, Berlin Wall, St. Mary’s Square, Miami Beach, and everywhere in between.
