Jeanville

Jeanville explored different projects & styles of electronic music since 2005. Real things happened when he does his first Booty House and Ghettotech mix in a beach bar of Britany during summer 2008. With his friend BREAKING-E, they decided to join their knowledge in Ghettomusic and make a duet of DJ/Producers under the name of "BROS BEFORE HOES". They organised a dozen of gigs called "TOUCH YOUR TOES" in the city of Rennes, with locals friends and DJs :Hollydjee (dbty), Scisquo(dbty), Dakunt & Stinj(Get flavor), Nate & Jojo, DJ Sambal, Nins, The Edger, Low Pee... Then he organized bigger events, still called TOUCH YOUR TOES, inviting bigger names like DJ SPINN (Chicago), DJ TAMEIL(New Jersey), PHILTHKIDS (Vancouver), GOON & KOYOTE, DJUB & COMA (Belgium), RAZIEK... Recognized as the local specialists of Ghettomusic, Bros Before Hoes played in the biggest festivals of France, Les Vieilles Charrues, Les Transmusicales, Astropolis, Electroni{k}, Zoophoniq and some foreign gigs in Sweden, Finland, Switzerland, San Francisco, Croatia (Outlook festival)... Musically JEANVILLE did a bunch of tracks & remixes for free EPs on "World Wide Juke", "Booty Call Records", "Le French Work"... and won the remix contest of the track AYOBA by the SCHLACHTHOFBRONX released on the biggest Baile Funk label MAN RECORDINGS. He also won the 3rd place of the french final's quarter of the Redbull Threestyles DJ constest 2011. In the last years, he experimented the live act with machines (synths, drum machines, effects). He also launched his own record label Eddy Larkin in the aim to promote other upcoming artists. This work has received appreciation from Rinse France radio, giving him a mothly show. -Label founder at Eddy Larkin. -Live machine act.
