JCDC is based in the Central, MA area and has played quite steadily since their incarnation in Spring, 2008. The duo has held a monthly residency at the Gardner Ale House, where they consider home base. Fans of the group call JCDC "the most original cover band"... The Beatles Grateful Dead Paul Simon Marvin Gaye Phish Eric Clapton Velvet Underground Traffic Yes Emerson Lake & Palmer Bob Marley The Meters George Harrison Cream John Lennon Talking Heads Wilco Rush Crosby Stills Nash & Young The Rolling Stones Bob Dylan The Who Stevie Wonder Beck The Who The Police Pink Floyd Little Feat & many, many more. The band is also known to cover entire sides of albums, as well as mesh and gel songs together, creating a truly interesting musical canvas. On October 9, 2010 for John Lennon's 70th Birthday, JCDC played 45 Lennon compositions straight. JCDC has also performed for capacity audiences at the US Cellular Pavillion in Guilford, New Hampshire closing out the Phil Lesh & Friends show in the summer of 2008, and the Widespread Panic/Allman Brothers Band show in 2009. Jimmy has been performing music for over 20 years, playing drums for his band Andromeda Taxi, as well as performing with various acts throughout MA. When one enters a JCDC show, and hears the sound of the drums, one cannot dismiss Jim's dynamic energy, and enthusiasm. Daniel began his self taught musical journey at the age of six playing drums, then to keyboards, then eventually to bass and guitar. Over the past 17 years he's performed with many bands throughout New England on Keyboards most notably New Pond Fondle. JCDC is his first take on the Guitar, and Lead Vocal. party in a bag.
