J. Timber

J Timber, born Jonathan Timber in Queens, NY, is a wild child with a soulful voice and a heart for life. Now residing in Greensboro, NC, this half-Colombian, half-African American is as aggressive as an artist can get. His passion and drive has led him to share the stage with acts such as Boyz II Men and Mayday Parade in his mission to play the most entertaining pop rock/soul show eyes have seen. J Timber was invited to attend the prestigious Red Bull Music Academy in 2009 and was discovered later that year by Joey Barnes, drummer for Daughtry at the time, at an in-store acoustic performance. The chemistry between the two was instant and they immediately began crafting J Timber’s self-titled debut EP. The video for “Something to Say” was subsequently picked up by Fuse TV and aired nationally in 2010. The song “You’re Impossible” is currently being used by Justfab.com in a commercial on every major cable TV network in the country. J. Timber is the future of wild child pop rock and roll.
