It Starts WIth Alaska is a six-piece Progressive Metalcore band from the San Francisco Bay Area. ISWA quickly gained a loyal fan-base in Northern California, frequently headlining local shows and supporting national tour packages, as well as performing to a packed crowd at the 2011 Vans Warped Tour in Mountain View. The band has also earned a large online audience on internet; their cover of "Everytime We Touch," by Cascada, has amassed over 250,000 views on YouTube. In addition, ISWA has received well over half-a-million views on YouTube through videos on their channel, and fan-posted videos, song reposts, covers, and soundtracks. It Starts With Alaska has also released a music video for their first single, "The Creature." Since 2012, when their debut E.P. "Renewer" was released, the band has been perfecting new material.
