EN Hipérion are a heavy metal band from Vale de Cambra. The project began in 2010 with the following line up: Paulo Brandão -vocals / bass Fábio Almeida - guitar Filipe Costa - drums It should be also mentioned the participation of Ricardo Lima who for some time joined the keyboards to the sound of the band. The band gave their first concert on 31-10-2011 in their hometown. In the beginning of 2012 joined the band the guitarist Agostinho Soares .. In the beginning of 2013 the band joined the bass / guitarist Helder Soares. The band continued with concerts widening the range of action and during that year recorded their first album entitled "Hipérion Rise", an album with 8 songs that was released in November of that year. During the year 2014 the band went through some ups and downs with the exits of Agostinho and Helder Soares, trying to continue with the 3 initial elements. In 2015 the departure of the guitarist Fábio Almeida came to bring some moments of indefinition in relation to the continuation of the band, continued this assured by the reentry in the band of the brothers Agostinho and Helder Soares. In 2016, in order to reinforce the sound of the band, entered the bass player João Costa. The band is currently recording a new album, always with the aim of giving their contribution to the Portuguese heavy metal. PT Os Hipérion são uma banda de heavy metal oriunda de Vale de Cambra. O projecto teve início no ano de 2010 com o seguinte line up: Paulo Brandão-voz/baixo Fábio Almeida-guitarra Filipe Costa-bateria De registar também a participação de Ricardo Lima que durante algum tempo juntou os teclados ao som da banda. A banda deu o seu 1º concerto no dia 31-10-2011 na sua cidade natal. No inicio de 2012 juntou-se à banda o guitarrista Agostinho Soares.. No inicio de 2013 juntou-se á banda o baixista/guitarrista Helder Soares. A banda continuou com concertos alargando o raio de acção e durante esse ano gravou o seu 1º trabalho discográfico intitulado “Hipérion Rise”, um cd com 8 temas que foi lançado em Novembro desse ano. Durante o ano de 2014 a banda passou por alguns altos e baixos com as saídas de Agostinho e Helder Soares, vindo a tentar continuar com os 3 elementos iniciais. Em 2015 a saída do guitarrista Fábio Almeida veio trazer alguns momentos de indefinição em relação à continuação da banda, continuação essa assegurada pela reentrada na banda dos irmão Agostinho e Helder Soares. Em 2016, de forma a reforçar o som da banda, entrou o baixista João Costa. A banda encontra-se neste momento a gravar um novo álbum, sempre com o objectivo de dar o seu contributo ao heavy metal nacional. Heavy Metal!!!
