HWC is an independent rock band based in Petaling Jaya. The band consists of Faisal Yusof on vocals and bass, Andy Seah and Kamal Yusof on guitars, and Putera El Rachid on drums. Bursting into the scene in late 2009, HWC has quickly gained recognition as one of Malaysia's fastest rising band. Despite being relatively new to the scene, HWC has built a strong fanbase, invaded local airwaves with their song on high rotation, as well as rocked high profile gigs and popular venues. With 3 singles out, HWC manages to keep a perfect record of topping charts. Their 1st single, Apa Warnamu, has been creating a buzz and getting airplay on XFM, Hot FM as well as Fly FM. The song has reached no.1 on XFM Underground Chart and also no.1 on online music charts, such as Channel [V] AMP Chart, cravecharts.com and jomgig.com Top 50. Their second single, "Tujuan" topped Carta ERA on its debut week and counting. HWC's third single, which is their first English song, "The Goodbye Song" was on top of the HITZ.FM BET 10 Chart for weeks.
