About Girl Skin
Following GIRL SKIN's self-produced and highly acclaimed debut album Shade is on the other side, the New York five-piece recorded ten new songs with producer Gordon Raphael (The Strokes, Regina Spektor) in early Fall 2021. The sophomore album is set to be released in early summer 2022.
GIRL SKIN's songs are informed by frontman Sid Simons's unorthodox life journey, which took him from Portland, to Australia, New York, Shanghai, and back to New York again and through a rambling, two-month-long road trip around North America instead of finishing high school.
GIRL SKIN are: Sid Simons (vocals, guitar), Wyatt Mones (lead guitar, vocals), Stanley Simons (bass), Leo Lovechild (keys), Octave Chouvet (keys live), and Noah Boling (drums).
