About Gipsy Danger

Marty and Clayton met in 2005 and have been playing music together off and on for the past 9 years. In 2009 Marty & Clatyon were introduced to PD at church and soon begin playing together. PD had played in local bands for several years and asked Clayton to play with his band Mr Hand in 2011. In 2013 at Clatyon's wedding PD asked Marty to play guitar with their band. Working a little bit over the next 6 months it eventually developed from a full electric cover band into the New Grass Fusion style and changed the name to Gipsy Danger. PD moved from electric to acoustic guitar, Clayton moved from bass to upright bass and Marty moved from electric to mandolin. In the Spring of 2014 they asked Jared to bring his violin, banjo and percussion to the mix. What has developed is a style influenced by Rock/Pop thru the interpretation of bluegrass instruments. The sound is familiar... yet unique.
