Ghost of a Gentleman

Ghost of a Gentleman is a 4-piece alternative-punk band from northern New Jersey. Described by SweetStatic.com, ""Rock" doesn't really cut it as they incorporate elements from many different subgenres (sic), including punk, pop-punk, post-hardcore, and even a little emo". The band consists of Conor (vocals, guitar), Riley (vocals, drums), James (guitar), and Kevin (bass). They finalized their lineup in the summer of 2015. The band draws influence from acts like Brand New and Title Fight, relying on raw, emotional climaxes blended with melodic verses to create a sound reminiscent of the hardcore punk scene of the mid-2000's. In late December of 2016, the band suffered a devastating loss in the passing of vocalist and founding member James Kelly. The band's latest album, "Empty Room" was released on February 24th, 2017, and is dedicated to James. Also in February 2017, Ghost of a Gentleman made their radio debut, performing live at Brave New Radio (WPSC) at William Patterson University. Their performance earned them consistent radio play at the station and eventually a spot at the campus's Braveathon live music event in April 2017. Ghost of a Gentleman is the definition of a DIY band, building their own speaker cabinets, pedal-boards, lighting systems, and stage props, as well as producing, mixing, and mastering their music. Outside of music, the band excels in going to the diner, paying student loans, and using the internet. The group is currently planning show dates for the fall and winter of 2017.
