Born in Hampton, VA and raised in the great city of Dayton, Ohio, there was never a day since the age of 10 that you would catch Gho$t without a pair of headphones on or some type of music playing in the background wherever he was present. The name Gho$t originated from his middle name Jasper in 2006, and since then Gho$t has been on the move to make his way into the industry. The career of music unfolded as Gho$t began to study Audio Engineering at the International College Of Broadcasting where he received his Associate’s Degree. During this time, Award Winner Beatz (formerly known as Academy Productionz) was born and he began to work on his first project, “The Grudge Trilogy,” which can be found on Datpiff.com. The company achieved success when a placement for Rick Ross, Wale and 2Chainz occurred on the Rich Forever album, later to engage another placement with Plies. Gho$t was heavily influenced to continue the journey to success when this happened. Gho$t furthered his education at Full Sail University to later receive a Bachelor of Science in Entertainment Business and a Master of Science in Internet Marketing. While attending, he was introduced to a local recording studio where his eyes would open up to a world filled with endless possibilities. Gho$t had the pleasure of working alongside many talented musicians such as Beebs And Her Money Makers, Talib Kweli, IV Parallels & many more. Music has always been the heartbeat of Gho$t. As much as Gho$t loves music, he also likes to help people in any way possible. He established Gho$t Productionz to be that company to help others and by doing so, making donations from purchased beats to the American Cancer Society is his chosen path. He lost his father at the age of 7 because of cancer and he knows that there are many other victims out there as we grow older and continue to see the world change. Many people will come and go, but if Gho$t has a chance to put a smile on someone’s face, there’s no doubt that he will.
