About FXBG All Stars
The FXBG All Stars formed in the smoky halls and dark corners of blues bars and open mics, with drummer Ricky Coleman and bassist Paul Frields plucking up musical talent whenever they found it. Together with guitarist Kyle Marshall, they formed the original trio version of the All Stars. Now with keyboardist and sax man Irv Campbell, and the percussion mastery of Pete Mitchell, the band stretches out to embrace an entertaining mix of genres and styles that has quickly brought them acclaim and fans.
The various All Stars have performed and shared stages with acts like Chuck Brown, the Hummingbyrds, Laura Tsaggaris, The Weepies, Trouble Funk, Steve McWilliams and the Spectacles, B.T. Richardson's Black Coffee Experience, Harlen Simple, and many more artists from Virginia, DC, New York, and Miami. Now they bring their spicy flavor to soul, R&B, and pop classics for one of the hottest, funkiest shows in the region.
