Funky Fool

Biography Funky Fool started dj’ing at the young age of 13. He first started as a bedroom dj exploring all the possibilities of his dj desk. He quickly wanted to reach more people with his music and mixes. At the age of 15 he was already playing with some big Belgian names like Vosky (DJ of the Party Harders – Pope of Dope),.. A dream came true and more bookings followed. First private parties and college bals, to bigger outdoor events. Then Funky Fool had his first gig in a club in January 2013, it was in the You Night Club in Brussels (BE). He first did some warm-ups, quickly did some mid-night sessions and ended with 7 hour-long sets in this club. After starting at the YOU, he took the decks over from several other clubs & festivals like the Summerfestival, No Man’s World, Fuse Club, Jeux d’Hiver, Knokke Out, Bloody Louis, Doktor Jack, Knokke Out, Gotha Club, … International bookings followed at ADE in Amsterdam, La Folie Douce Meribel, Snowbeats [CH], private gigs in Switzerland, Italy and nightclubs in Tignes in France. During summer 2017 Funky Fool made a collaboration with Coca-Cola Belgium to tour on the seaside of Belgium. Other collaborations with big companies followed like for example: Google, Decathlon, BNP Paribas, Belgian Red Devils Hotel,… His mixtapes have reached the top 5 on the iTunes Podcast Store for several weeks (under his old name DJ RAPHI T.) and he already played with DJ's like Henri Pfr (BE), Lost Frequencies (BE), AHZEE(USA), Sem Thomasson (BE), Jonas Aden (Spinnin’ Rec), Dave Lambert (BE), Mell Tierra (NL), DIMARO (BE), NEON (BE), MOONFLOWER (BE), … He was asked to play a warm-up live on JIM TV (Belgian Music TV channel) for The Big Live with artist like Romeo Blanco, Martin Garrix, The Subs, Raving George, Mystique,… His productions have shown support from : - Martin Garrix - Lost Frequencies - Victor Niglio - Ookay - Aire Atlantica - Quentin Mosimann - Kayliox - The Voyagers - Henri Pfr - Jonas Aden - Tony Romera - ANGELZ - YVES V - Tommie Sunshine - & Many more.. After releasing several tracks on differents labels like Sony Music Belgium, Gold Digger, Nextgen,…: Funky Fool was asked to remix Henri Pfr's track "Home" which came out on Sony Music and made over 740k views. This remix was featured on The Martin Garrix Show on Spotify & Radio Beats 1. 2018 holds a bright future ahead with several originals & singles signed and ready to be released . Described as a ‘new talent’ in tech, deep and funky bass house his next bookings will insure a crazy future ! He’s ready to break down the house at every club and festival.
