When Fugitive Dancer put their snapshots of memories into melodies and words, the beauty of life always remains visible between the lines – even when an undeniable melancholy often accompanies the melodic indie pop songs of their debut album ‘BROTHER FROM ANOTHER MOTHER’. The lyrics wander between the modesty of the endowed lover and the restless yelling of a mind that never gets enough of life. The musicians manage to form impressive suspense curves that tie in with an enigmatic intensity of the two voices, creating their own very special sound, which occupies a space somewhere between early Coldplay songs and The National. After two years of writing the band is now recording their second album.
