FRED STICKLEY

From a very young age Fred has always had an interest in art. Painting and drawing were his passion until receiving a used set of Pearl Drums on his 16th birthday, only later to dedicate himself to the piano and composing music.

A keyboardist, vocalist and composer, Fred has accrued credits for radio and Tv production along with three CDs of his own original music. Fred's credits include: The Portland Trailblazers, Dateline NBC, The Tyra Banks Show, NFL Videos, numerous infomercials, along with music for Canadian and Australian television.

Fred studied composition and arranging with notable television and film composers at the Dick Grove School of Music in Studio City, California. Also during this period Fred studied the Bel Canto technique of voice training with prominent vocal coach Ron Anderson.

Fred can easily contribute his share tales about his days as keyboardist/vocalist with John Haitt, his studio days at American Recording working with a few of Rock's elite. and the b-zillion bands and shows along the way.

With his wife holly, Fred would eventually return to his homeland and move back to Portland where he would continue to developed his musical interest that would
include employment with Newton Bard, writing for Tv and radio production.

Coming full circle Fred returned to his interest in visual arts through photography ( stickleyphoto.com ) and graphic design. Rumor has it, he just bought a new set of Gretsch Drums.
