Flesh Engine

Flesh Engine was formed in January of 2007 with a desire to capture the feel and spirit of some of their early musical influences they set out to create music that would bring back metal music the way it used to be played - heavy, loud, and with passion. As things progressed and songs began to take shape they knew that they had to record a demo so the world could hear what they were working on. "07' Demo-Lition" was born. The band pressed 1,000 copies of the EP & received positive feedback from around the world. Quickly word got around that Flesh Engine was making a name for themselves in the underground community with their brand of metal combined of technical thrash, doom driven riffs, heavy drums & bass lines, & the thrashy melodic vocals. In 2008, Flesh Engine went back into the studio and recorded their 2nd EP entitled "Essence of Hell." This CD drew the band much more attention of various distribution companies. The band only pressed 100 copies of the CD with a full length CD in motion. The band continued for the next 2 years writing and performing in as many different venues as possible in the Philadelphia, New Jersey, & Delaware areas. 2010 launched the 1st full length CD entitled "Walking The Aether" with massive amounts of promotion, reviews, internet radio airplay & interviews. Flesh Engine landed themselves distribution in Germany, Malaysia, Brazil, Ireland, Poland, USA & many other parts of the world. At this point Flesh Engine wanted to keep the metal flowing so the band went back into the studio in June 2011. This time only to record a single. The track "Reduce To Nothing" was born. The band pressed 300 copies to pass out at shows & for promotional use. "Reduce To Nothing" landed them a spot on the Warriors of Metal 6 Pre-Fest in Columbus, Ohio June 2013 & Warriors of Metal Fest 7 main stage with the song being re-released on the WOM fest compilation CD (3,000 copies) and later being used for the opening track for the True Metal Lives presents...Doorway To The Unknown CD compilation (2,000 copies). With two EP's, a full length CD, & a single under their belts, Flesh Engine knew it was time to raise the stakes once again. Their second full length studio album, "Purging Existence" is due for release in 2014 on Slaney Records with nine brand new tracks that showcases the band's musical evolution, further development of the band members' collaborative song writing skills to mold a mature product out of their combined talents and their passionately intricate delivery of what professional musicianship is supposed to sound like. Combining the tried and true elements of their previous efforts with an even more epic feel for the music, Flesh Engine will once again prove themselves to be true defenders and proud flag bearers of Heavy Metal music.
