Fire Signs

Fire Signs began with a chance encounter between seasoned Houston drummer Patrick "Beans" Wheeler and singer-songwriter Kendra Farber. Eager to defy genre and create a unique landscape of sound, they began writing songs influenced by their eclectic musical backgrounds. Kendra's moody, observational lyrics are delivered with conviction in a subtle yet earnest blues vocal style. With the addition of Kenny Dickman's dynamic range of southern rock rhythms and melodic slide guitar leads, the band's self-titled album is laden with movement and rich with complex minor chords. Patrick Wheeler and Joseph Lefler provide a solid rhythmic foundation, incorporating latin-reggae beats into the fold. Topped off by feverish organ solos courtesy of Ryan Scroggins, Fire Signs delivers what it set out to achieve: a captivating musical experience that transcends all boundaries.
