Finding Iris

Hailing from Tyler, TX, Finding Iris is comprised of brothers Cody and Will Hunter and Justin Ratliff. The band’s sound is heavily influenced by several alt-rock powerhouse acts, such as Breaking Benjamin, Chevelle, Incubus, and 10 Years. Combining deep and insightful lyrics with intricate, assertive guitar work, Finding Iris’s music resonates with everyone on life’s journey. After gaining experience and honing their sound, Finding Iris was noticed by producer Travis Wyrick, a 3 time Dove Award Winner and Grammy Award Nominee who has collaborated with the likes of P.O.D., 10 Years, Pillar, Disciple, and others. They worked with him to produce their first full length album, "We the Moon," recorded at Wyrick’s own Lakeside Studios in Knoxville, Tennessee. "We the Moon” was released in July of 2014 and marks the band’s first foray onto the commercial music scene. The album has received massive recognition with their first two radio charting singles, “We the Moon” and “Far Away”, as well as the song “Reviving” which features Jesse Hasek, frontman of 10 Years. Finding Iris’ has already made a name for themselves with the breakout radio success of their first two singles with “We the Moon” peaking on the charts at #13 and “Far Away” spending 21 weeks on the charts and peaking at #9. While still relatively new on the scene, Finding Iris has already begun to establish themselves as a powerful player in rock music and prove that they and their sound are here to stay.
