Fatal Lucciauno

Fatal Lucciauno was born in Chicago and grew up in Seattle’s Central District. He began writing poetry and rapping at the age of eight. At times, his talent would turn hardship into hustle. A younger Lucciauno would sing on the streets with his father for food and money to take care of their family. Fatal grew accustomed to life on the streets, spending 11 years homeless after moving to Washington in search of better living. However he remained passionate about music, crediting his mother Northwest’s renowned Blues/Gospel singer Josephine Howell, and artists ranging from Tupac to Stevie Wonder as his inspirations. After spending his formative years balancing street life and creativity, he excelled as a battle rapper, earning a name on playgrounds, street corners, and on public buses. At the age of fifteen Fatal became the fourth solo artist signed to Seattle based Sportn’ Life Records. After taking some years to grow and develop as an artist, his debut album ‘The Only Forgotten Son’ was released, and hailed ”Best Solo Hip Hop Album” of the year by Seattle’s the Stranger Magazine. Fatal followed up with ‘The Message’ EP produced by Jake One, and ‘Respect’. Fatal’s live performance was landing him opening slots for hip hop’s biggest names such as Jeezy, Ice Cube, Wu Tang, Big Boi, Snoop Dogg, Freddie Gibbs and Nipsey Hustle. Until his career was flipped upside down after opening for a hip hop show at Chop Suey. A shooting ended the show, and changed the way venue’s looked at hip hop shows in Seattle. At the forefront of the local hip hop scene Fatal became blackballed from performing in his hometown. This was followed by challenges in his personal life that continued to pile up and keep him sidelined from releasing music. It’s been a long tough journey, but now with the emergence of Raz Simone’s Seattle based Black Umbrella company Fatal is back with the perfect platform to reintroduce himself.
