We are a rock/dance/party band that loves to have a ton o' fun with the crowd playing everything from the 70's to today. You'll love it! Watch one of our videos: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C3sbZ-nRGnE http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OgKAzDGkirI Tim "the Toolman" Tyler: Plays - Bass & other heavy equipment including the "Tool", the Big Stick, Vocals. kazoo / Kevin Mix: Plays - Lead vocals, lead and rhythm guitar, ipad, kazoo, hair dye / Adam Westover: Plays - Drums, rhythm maker, cymbal-minded, balloon blower-upper, comedic relief / Greg Sauers: Plays - Lead Guitar, Vocals, bionic back, Kazoo, dog whisperer / / Alumnus - Retired - Ben Rosato - Lead Guitar, vocals, Bitchin' fireworks displays, brew master, and goats. / / Flu Shots rose from the ashes of Strickly Business. Okay... maybe not ashes... but after 15 years of existence and rising to become one of the areas most popular bands, Strickly Business ceased to exist when drummer and last remaining original member, Eric Spong, had to give up the drums due to issues with his back. Even though Kevin, Tim and Greg had all been in the band for 14, 12 & 8 yrs respectively, they decided to retire the name like a jersey in honor of their "fallen comrades." They took a little time off and then went on the hunt for a new drummer. After an extensive search and many tryouts, they found Adam in 2003... Flu Shots was born... After 8 years Greg decided he needed a break from the band. In his wake, Ben Rosato not only brought experience to the table, but added a new vocal dimension that we were very excited about. But after 5 years and a new marriage, Ben decided he needed to spend more time with his new wife, so... Flu Shots starts a new era in 2017 with The Return of Greg! And here we are still rockin the greater Williamsport area after 14 years! / / The name: Once upon a time, in a village named Glen Iron, PA, Strickly Business played a gig in a fire hall. The town was so small that the fire hall was used to host town meetings, as a medical clinic, and as the local bar. Since the fire hall had been giving out flu shots all day before the evenings festivities, that was what the marquee out front said instead of Strickly Business. This amused the band members and started a running joke about a band called "Flu Shots." So when the time came for a new name, it floated to the top of the list.
