Excess Band

The Excess Band (Formally known as Excess Baggage) is made up of a very diverse group of musicians. Kenny Lee (drummer) comes from this area playing mostly country and southern rock in his early days. Now he prefers the more modern tunes that the band loves to rock!! Greer Cawthon (lead singer) comes from a completely different background, singing mostly progressive metal and playing keyboards. Excess is a whole new challenge for his vocals but he taken to it like jack daniels to coke. Jason McCallister(Guitar,Vocals) has a pretty impressive background, rocking with some of the peninsula's best bands; including but not limited to Soul Patch, Lead 86, Decibal Junkies, #1 addiction and of course, East Coast Rockers. He now has set his sites on rocking the dance floor or rocking your back out of place with the EXCESS boys, soon at a club near you! David Norris (Bass/Vocals) is a veteran of the Hampton Roads music scene, from original bands in the 90's (Dirty Mary, Alter Ego), to the cover band scene of the last decade (Thrill Ride, Soul Patch, Borderline Crazy, Krunch, among others). His playing style runs the gamut from Metal to Funk and everything in between. But mostly just LOUD!!!
