The Evil Treacle Story… 1999 - A train to a rock festival A drummer from Cork (Ireland) and a guitar player from Wolverhampton (England) meet in this train. They decide there and then to start a band together. That’s where the foundation of the Treacle was built. Boon and Ted played in several bands & music projects together, like Squid and Mama Says Maybe. 2009 - A snooker club in Leiden While playing a frame of snooker they get disturbed by a rock chick from Leiden (Netherlands). The boys had seen Kitt play with The Black Bellies several times and were convinced they had to combine their forces. Therefore they are now known as Evil Treacle: Ready to rock!
