Errol Starr Francis

A diverse crossing of culture, sounds of aliveness, danceable, devotional, divine, funky, rocking, hippie reggae stylings. Plenty of pleasing sounds, all with a loving vibration.

Errol has spent all of his working life in the music industry. As a guitar
player first, then as a vocalist/guitar player. He played and toured Ontario and later across Canada in the 1970's with rock bands, including Phaze, Actual Size, and Harbinger. In the early 1980's he went solo. After a period of writing and self-recording some early demos, a showcase of the material was arranged for the El Mocambo. As a result of that showcase, Errol went on to record an album, which had 3 singles that charted in the top 25 in Canada.

The Temple of Love album won awards at the Junos, Socan, and the Black Music Association. The making of the album also stretched him on the other side of the board. Errol began to take on projects as an audio engineer and/or producer. Over his 35 years in the music industry he continues to learn new skills and to work with whatever circumstances present to achieve a good sound. Since 2001 he worked from a solar powered recording studio in the woods of the Upper Ottawa Valley. Now back in southern Ontario, Errol continues to create compelling music under the Errol Starr name, as well he creates music for the healing arts industry with fellow music composer & partner Schroeder Nordholt for Asomassage Music.

Errol latest release Heart's Devotion is perfect for listening, dancing and connecting with the One. It is conscious, it is danceable.
