Emily Ray

-BIO Emily Ray is a singer, dancer and songwriter, born on February 3rd, 1996, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She started singing at the age of 4, writing songs at 8, and taking theater and musical lessons when 9 years old. Emily began doing shows professionally as a back vocalist when 16 in order to improve herself as an artist. She moved to Utah when 17 and studied English. Emily started taking voice lessons participated in auditions for several TV shows, including The Voice, La Banda, and America's Got Talent. Months later, she established a company called Emily Ray Entertainment and formed her musical team (i.e.: band, dancers, producers) in order to perform and succeed. Emily's musical genres are Pop and Hip-Hop R&B. Because of her persistence, talent, and extreme love of music, she was recognized by the famous artist Alex Boye's ex-musical director, CJ Drisdom. She signed a contract, started working on her first album performed in Carnaval in front of 200.000 - 300.000 people and will begin touring around the U.S and Brazil shortly in 2017.
