'04: ELVEN (from Norw. "the river": the name evokes natural landscape atmosphere of the area where the band lives) was born from an idea of guitarist / vocalist Andy and bassist Dave. Few months later singer Ivy joins the band. '05: Self-produced demo "DAMNED MARSH" release, a concept album related to local history, chronicles, legends and natural atmosphere. Live debut of the band. '06: Line up changes. '07 / '08: Another line up change forcing to stop the self-produced promo EP "SOMETHING WICKED" recordings, released during late '08. '09: ELVEN works on the first full length album, while the band's live activity continues nonstop until July'09, when Andy joins the Norwegian doom metal band Syrach (Napalm Rec.) as lead guitarist, leaving soon for a double European tour. Andy and Ivy move to Bergen. '10: Part of the debut album material's rewritten. Later that year, half in Italy half in Norway, ELVEN start the recordings. '11 / '12: The debut full lenght album "THE NAMELESS" is mixed and mastered at Consternation Studio in Bergen (N). Out in August '12. '13: The band's live activity continues. Line up changes. '14: ELVEN working on the second album. '15: ELVEN recording the new full lenght album, in collaboration with Consternation studio in Bergen (N).
