The Late 80's and 90's brought so many 1 hit wonders and those songs that made your high school years bearable! Something 'different' from your standard cover classics yet so much fun and memories! The 2012 ALH Group "Calling all Coverband" Runners up Hallam Hotel Residents Toward the later half of 2011, a Drummer and Guitarist looking for a new direction, looked for a singer to join in a jam. What they found was a guy who was looking for a new direction in covers. Before too long, auditions found a like minded Bassist and a talented guitarist / vocalist to complete the line up. After a break out start to the "Calling all Coverbands" Comp at the Hallam Hotel, the rest became history! Heres more on the guys... Brad (B1) DRUMS - The man in the 'cage' down the back beats the logs like animal. He's been locked up for 14 years now... We haven't told him he can leave yet. Inspired by the greats like Tommy Lee and Eric Singer he's aspired to be the best, with and without a video camera! He's a tattooist with snakes but dont let this bad boy fool ya, he takes care of his family by being responsible for your reckless night out! Jim (Shaggy) BASS - Joining the band mid 2012 he was essential in the ”Calling all Cover Bands” competition at the Hallam hotel. His custom 5 string Bass gives him with the edge over the rest. The most experienced in the group has too many bands to mention playing at every main venue in Melbourne for 20 years. Most notably a muso for hire, Jim’s knowledge of music is as deep as the tones he plays. Phill LEAD VOCALS - Lucky Phill grabs the mic and delivers your favourite tunes with a huge voice. As a finalist on Australian Idol years ago he's played at some of Victorias premier venues. Despite the name, we've no idea what actually makes him Lucky. Some say...., he plugs straight in but has no off switch... Some say..., theres too much blood in his alcohol system...All we do know is after the party starts, it's you that will be Lucky.
