AllanJames comes from a close-knit Irish-American family with roots in the Metro-Detroit, Michigan area, where his musical influences have varied from Folk, R&B, Motown, Pop and Soulful Rock. He now resides in Florida where he has experienced working with Southern Rock, including Hard Rock and Punk Rock. Taking the best elements from each genre, AllanJames creates a unique Alternative R&B style of music. AllanJames is currently a student in the School of Music at Palm Beach Atlantic University in West Palm Beach, Florida. AllanJames writes, arranges, and produces for himself as well as other musicians. He is a vocalist; plays keys and guitar. "Buaigh nó Éag" is Irish Gaelic for "Conquer or Perish." An old family motto that AllanJames takes very seriously. He personifies this motto through strong passion & ambition that are at the foundation of his music. AllanJames brings a blend of his soulful Irish heritage with a unique and personal sound inspired by his faith.
