Drown the Witness

Starting in August of 2006, Drown The Witness was a small project that consequently turned into an obsession where currently the members all find themselves engulfed with the band. Now in Orange County, California, DTW started originally in Vancouver, Washington which is a small town not too far from Portland, Oregon. After the band moved to Southern California, a few original members jumped off the wagon leaving Malachi, Ryan, and Zach as the original Northerners. It was in So Cal that the three would team up with Chris (who they found on craigslist) who was originally from Colorado, later Chris introduced the band to Adam and they have been like brothers ever since. Growing up listening to Punk, Metal, and Hardcore; Drown The Witness has influences ranging from, Propagandhi, Strung Out, Iron Maiden, Metallica, Protest The Hero, Everytime I Die, Simon and Garfunkel, and even Smash Mouth. What stands out about DTW is their unrelenting desire to make great music, despite some of the struggles they have been faced with.
