Drake Hayes Band

Drake Hayes grew up in Acuff, Texas where he was exposed to a wide variety of music from a very early age. It came as no surprise when he took a strong interest beginning in his early teens. Throughout middle and high school Drake began playing bass guitar, guitar and harmonica. While in school, Drake was a serious player with strong dedication who was quickly noticed by other musicians. Soon after, Drake was touring the national circuit with several top acts including Mark McKinney, Matt Kimbrow, The Proud Cut Ponies and Jeremy Stedding. As exciting as touring and playing with other acts was, Drake wanted to chase his own dream. So he began to write and cultivate his own material. Before too long, he was ready to start his own band.
