Downfall Of Empires, hailing from Zwolle in the Netherlands, delivers fast packed melodic death metal with metalcore influences. Downfall Of Empires has always been a pack of five childhood friends. This is what we love to do, the opportunity to hang out every week is special to us. The love for the writing process and getting this on in the studio is a unique way to express and show who we are. On stage we are known to be energetic, mental, running through public with guitars and firing up the crowd in a short time. Our statement is to go crazy and enjoy every minute of the show, it doesn't matter to us if there are 10 or 10.000 visitors! Downfall Of Empires released their debut EP ‘As We Fall’ in 2010. They continued writing music, getting better in writing songs, released ’Sede Vacante’ in October 2011, this EP was slightly heavier and more experimental. The second EP was picked up really good by the media and had exceptional reviews. Downfall Of Empires played venues like Het Burgerweeshuis Deventer, The Crazy Horse Hardenberg, Willemeen Arnhem and Festival Aaltjesdagen in Harderwijk. Downfall Of Empires is getting better and better and is starting to create a more technical and consistent theme, their own sound. ‘’NEPHILIM’’ is their newest effort and is going to be released in early 2013.
