Down Monday

Down Monday burst onto the scene in 2012 with their unmistakable brand of hard rock. Boasting a combination of edgy guitar riffs, melodic vocal patterns, and powerful groove/rock influenced drumming- they have been taking New England by storm and have already shared the stage with rock giants such as Trapt, Evans Blue, Candlelight Red and Eve to Adam. Their debut album is lush with layers of emotions and complex, yet catchy songs. Frontman John Ryan calls the album, "a source of reflection." Looking back at the lyrics, he says it was like a "therapy session," Now, a collection of thoughts, feelings, and ideas that flooded his mind throughout the years. With world class rock producer Michael Patzig at the helm, Down Monday created a freshman release sure to make them a serious contender in the rock arena. Entrenched with everything from ripping guitar riffs to memorable and catchy pop hooks- their debut, simply titled, "Down Monday" has it all. Since releasing their album, the band has been featured on Connecticut Radio 104.1 WMRQ, 106.9 WCCC, and Rhode Island Radio 94HJY, as well as many internet radio stations across the world. The boys have been fortunate to share the stage with so many great acts already and are currently working on putting together a US tour for the spring of 2013.
