Billboard top 10 dance artist. DJ? Producer? Artist? Donny Marano is house music. Born to Portuguese Parents in Newark, NJ, Donny is responsible for starting the rave scene in the Tri-State Area. DJing since the age of 14 in NJ, NYC and local venues, Donny Marano is a pillar in the house music scene. He first started playing trance and techno, then soon after realized his love for house music. He spent his younger years soaking up the musical influences of NYC. " I listen to a wide assortment of music, gaining influences from lots of styles. The variety of the sounds I hear guide me to a different line of thought when I'm in the studio creating." Donny has played prime time at some of NYCs legendary clubs as well as some of the largest Tri-State area venues such as Limelight, Lounge G, Sullivan Room, Webster Hall, Spotlight, Tunnel, Exit and Rush. He has played in Miami for the Winter Music Conference, We Love Brasil, Portugal for the opening night at Nikki Beach (Algarve), Colombia at Blue Deep, Ultra Music Festival, Pacha in Brazil, Pacha New York, Es Paradis Ibiza, Spain & was a featured DJ for the Rio Music Conference (Brazil).
