DJ Select has established himself as a downtown fixture throughout New York City's premium events and nightlife. He continuously sets parties ablaze with his future-forward mix of music selections that span many genres. With undeniable expertise, DJ Select has earned his strong reputation for his versatility, creativity, and variety in his sets. DJ Select began his career co-founding The Party, a staple event in Dallas, Texas in 2007. DJ Select and his partners quickly earned a name for themselves, drawing attention from publications and party-goers alive, including a rave review by Rolling Stone Magazine fondly referencing The Party as "the best destination for anyone who wants to do something with his or her night out besides standing still with arms crossed.” Maintaining ultra-successful residencies and bookings at some of New York City's most respected and revered nightlife venues (The Box, Miss Lily’s, Finale, 1Oak, Avenue), the New York born, Dallas, Texas-raised DJ is also a prolific engineer, remixer, and producer who has worked with artists including Mr. Vegas, Sean Paul, Rihanna, Major Lazer, Lykke Li, and the Marley Family to produce an arsenal of both well-received recording projects and special radio presentations. In addition to his work contributing to global music and nightlife culture, he has also worked to DJ events and curate musical programs for a number of established corporate entities such as Nike, Adidas, Mac Cosmetics, The Wall Street Journal, Red Bull, Elle Magazine, The Tribeca Film Festival, Stussy, and GQ.
