Bournemouth based hip hop, mash up DJ with a history of mix cd’s, original mashups and gigs. Cursa play’s as much classic music and influences as he can in the traditional hip hop dj style, plus he makes all his own mashups and never put’s anyone else’s in a mix. “In a club is a little different but on CD, I want you to know those are MY ideas and not from elsewhere”. He considers the mashup one of the oldest tricks in djing and if your gonna play ‘em – you gotta make ‘em!. Supported acts including Peanut Butter Wolf, Dj Yoda, Dj Format, The Nextmen, Andrea Parker, Fingathing, Tom Middleton, Treva Whatever and the Herbaliser. Expect an eclectic mix of Hip Hop, Funk, Old School and Rock. And expect it to be MIXED. Cursa started on vinyl until he gave into the temptation of Rane Serato. “I love vinyl, but since Serato have never looked back.”
