DJ Christian Zanni

Christian Zanni brings over 20 years of musical production experience with 14 of them in electronic music. A native of Buenos Aires, Argentina and current resident of Dallas, Texas – Zanni’s musical philosophy and approach to each original song, remix and live mix is based on technical and creative principals. His style is reflected with the fundamental idea that each arrangement is calculated via its beat, melody, progression and overall compliment to its existing counterpart. His productions and sets are built with a goal in mind – to create an exquisite aural journey for his listeners. Each original production and live set encompass a blend of melodic fused elements, founded on minimal, techno and tech-house beats, fragmented with an array of complex, yet structured sounds. This is a style he continues to sharpen and shape into what he ultimately hopes is his signature sound. Zanni credits over two decades of guitar playing, composition and musical arrangements. He is a hard worker who boasts a serious work ethic and level of professionalism. In 2012 The Executive Music Group and Armed Forces Entertainment (AFE) commissioned Zanni’s services to head-up all DJ and Music Director responsibilities for a mini Australian tour. After much success, he was then commissioned to compile, edit, mix and master individual songs for each performer for three international tours. He performed as a solo act and with a live band, along with American Idol performers from seasons 10 and 11. The tour took them to the UK, The Netherlands, Italy and Kuwait with crowds ranging from 500 – 23,000 people. In September of 2012, Zanni had the opportunity to travel to Ibiza, Spain and perform at a pool party hosted by Hotel EsVive. In March of 2013, Zanni signed with Listen to House Music (LTHM) and had two production remixes hit Beatport (www.beatport.com). Shortly after, LTHM approached him again, to produce an original piece “Primicias” which was featured on their Miami Sounds 2013 EP promo featured during the Winter Music Conference 2013 and also available on Beatport and other retailers. He is currently working with Aerotek Recordings and is in the process of releasing two new songs through that label for the fall of 2014. He currently resides in Dallas, where he has appearances at venues such as Zubar, Absinthe Lounge, The Sunset Lounge and Beauty Bar. A little bit of this... a little bit of that.
