Districts are a five piece progressive metal band from South Wales, UK. starting the band with the found James Pohl back in 2010. Districts wasted no time in getting things started. Districts got to work straight away with playing shows in and around the South Wales. Districts also started on working in their debut self-titled EP. Districts recorded their debut self-titled EP with Stu McKay at Studio Six in Swindon. Studio Six has currently worked with; Bring Me The Horizon, Heart In Hand, Continents, The Dead Lay Waiting and many more amazing British bands. Districts self-titled EP was a four track EP with groovy riffs and heavy breakdowns and also guest vocals featuring Charlie Holmes from Heart In Hand. After the release of the self-title debut EP, Districts were playing shows in and around Wales and England and with Districts energetic shows it didn't take long for Districts to make an impact in the UK local music scene. In 2011 - 2012, Districts went in a break to sort out the new line up and to write new songs. Districts returned to the music scene back in September 11th 2012, while supporting American hardcore legends, American Me in Cardiff, UK. Since the return of Districts, Districts have signed with Monument Music for management and booking a crossed the UK and EU. Districts are currently finishing up their debut album which is being recorded, mixed and mastered by their very own guitarist, James Pohl. Districts are currently making plans for 2014.
